Alfred "Al" Franklin Miller age 81 of Galveston died Sunday November 20, 2022 at his residence with his daughter by his side. Memorial services are 12:00 m=noon Saturday December 3, 2022 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00am.

Al was born February 28, 1941 in Soperton, Georgia to Edward and Hazel Pruitt Miller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce, U.S. Army and U. S. Marine Corp. An engineer by trade Al was employed many years with Western Geophysical. He was a man of faith and a member of the Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his wife Carole Jo Miller survivors include; daughters Robin Gwinn of Galveston, Melinda Lamar, Debbie Miller and Lisa Addie all of Alabama; granddaughter Jessie Barrera and husband Mike and grandson Jeremy Gwinn of Galveston; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many other beloved relatives and friends.
