Andrea Rios Hernandez left her earthly home and entered her eternal life at the age of 66 on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Andrea was born on December 16, 1954 in Galveston, TX. She held a strong faith in God and loved her family greatly. Andrea received great joy in being part of family holidays, parties and gatherings. Nothing made her happier than knowing that her family was together. Andrea was known for having a lucky streak, and often tested it by winning big @ Bingo, Loteria and the lottery.

Andrea is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Rios, Sr. and Susie Jaramillo, her two brothers, Johnnie and Tony, and her four sisters, Irene, Loraine, Lupe and Janie.

She is survived by her husband John Paul Hernandez, sons, Larry and wife Rumalda Rivera, David and wife Marisela Herrera, and daughter, Isabel Herrera Robinson and husband Lawrence. She had 14 grandchildren, Monika (Mikey) Mackey, Johnny Ray (Jessica) Trevino, Richard (Carol) Rivera, Jessica (Erick) Lopez, Mateo (Emily) Rivera, Tiriq (Jennifer) Herrera, Samantha (Mykelti) Perales, Tiffany Herrera, Trishten Herrera, Vanessa Rivera, Leah Moore, Pearlie Robinson, 6 great-grandchildren, Jade, Janaya, Azariah, A'Myra, Gabriel and Madeline, 1 brother, Jesse Rios, Sr. numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home-Galveston at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 11 ^th , with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
