Andres Aposton "Andrews" Castillo age 93 of Galveston died June 2, 2024 at his residence in Galveston. A visitation will be held 4:00pm until 6:00pm Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. Friends are invited to share fond memories of Andres at the visitation. Mr. Castillo will be laid to rest in his hometown of Limones, Ecuador.

Born November 30, 1930 in Limones, Esmeraldas, Ecuador, South America to Ventura Castillo and Purification Pantoja Castillo, Andres was a seaman. He was employed with the National Maritime Union, sailing all over the world. Mr. Castillo was a longtime member of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons Galveston Lodge.

His Grandsons Christopher Medrano Sr. and Joshua Sanchez, Granddaughter Christina Alexander; brother Jose Gregorio Castillo and sisters Sista Maria Castillo and Juan Maria Castillo of Ecuador and a Host of Family and Friends!
