Andres Puente Espinosa age 63 of Galveston passed away unexpectedly Monday December 21, 2020 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Funeral services are 4:00pm Monday, December 28, 2020 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm.
Andrew was born January 1, 1957 in Galveston to Ramon and Graciela Espinosa. He was a member of the Ball High School Class of 1976. Andrew was a chef in his early career and later on became a carpenter in Galveston. Andrew was a loving, caring man who was very strong and always ready to give his last. He truly loved his children and grandchildren and was an excellent provider for all. He loved playing pool and watching football with his buddies at Gloria's Lounge.
Andrew was preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Graciela Puente Espinosa and a brother Henry Espinosa. Survivors include his loving wife Rebecca Ann Peralez Espinosa; his children Amanda Espinosa (Chester), Rachael Schraufnagel and husband Mason, Andrew Espinosa, Jr. (April); step children Roland "Turk" Peralez and wife Joanna, Jennifer Peralez (Jorge), Crystal Peralez (Danny), Henry Castillo; sister Gracie Espinosa; brothers Raymond Espinosa and wife Colleen, Armando Espinosa and wife Julita, Harvey Espinosa, Frank Espinosa and Albert Espinosa; grandchildren Marcos Gomez, Alan Gomez, Maria Simpson, Sabrina Simpson, Donatho Espinosa, Alex Espinosa and Kirk Espinosa, Finnegan Schraufnagel, Cristina Castillo, Felix Castillo, Jazmine Castaneda, Angel Peralez Leanna Fuentes, Maricela Fuentes, David Peralez, Daniel Peralez, Leah Peralez, Messiah Jobe; great grandchildren Lilliana Gomez, Nyleigha Gomez, Laila Rose Gomez, Maleni Gomez, Zaaliyah Gomez, Aubriella Gomez, Aiden McLeod; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
