April Reyes, a beautiful wife and partner in life of Robert Reyes peacefully passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 41. Funeral services will be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home 1201 Tremont in Galveston, Texas on Tuesday, October 31st. Viewing will begin at 9am followed by service at 11am. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

April was born to Robert Wayne and Maria D. McClure on the 21st day of August in 1982 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. As a young girl, April lost her loving father from his fight with cancer. Being the oldest to her mom, she diligently began to learn how to help her mom with their home by cooking, cleaning, and taking care of her little brother. In her childhood, April was an adventurous little girl. Some might even say she was a tomboy. She would end up making lifelong friends by the time she was becoming a teenager including her future husband.

When she turned 21, she would spontaneously cross paths with her childhood friend, Robert Reyes. After that, they were inseparable and linked forever. Soon as they begin the beautiful family together. Everyone would know April for her warm smile and welcoming home. Her hands were never empty of love for her family and friends. She looked forward to cooking for the ones she loved. She really cherished being a mother and wife and would do anything for the ones she loved. It showed in her cooking. Her family meant the world to her.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Robert Wayne McClure, her father-in-law, Jose Reyes Sr., and brother-in-law, Jose Reyes Jr. She is survived by her husband, Robert Reyes Sr. Along with her children Destiny Cisneros, Maryjane Reyes, Joseph Reyes, Ace Reyes, Jimmy Reyes, Jordan Reyes, Jeovanni Reyes, April Reyes, and her step-children Lewis Moreno, Robert Reyes Jr.., Gabriella Reyes, and Jayce Reyes. Her other, Maria McClure, and her brother, Joseph McClure.
