Beatrice Garcia, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and grandmother, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Galveston, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. Preceded in death by her loving Daughter Cynthia Garcia, (Parents) Albelardo Garza, Evangelina Garza. (Siblings:) Carol Gonzales, Alfred Garza, Jose Garza, Linda Herrera.
She was born on May 7, 1946, to Abelardo Ortiz "Lalo" Garza and Evangelina Garza in Galveston, Tx. Beatrice married Pedro Juan Guadalupe Garcia in 1962 and together they raised three children Juanita Joanne Garcia, Cynthia Garcia, and Pedro "Pete" Garcia. Amongst many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Beatrice attended Ball High School and enjoyed various hobbies including Crochet, Canvas, Bingo, Baking, Watching Novellas, Watching Movies, and Throwing parties. She was known for her warm smile and welcoming nature.
Beatrice is survived by her children Juanita, Pete and his wife Stacie Garcia, and Barbara Weidman, (Siblings) Cecelia Garza, Angela Rivera, Husband Gilbert, Christina Garza, Husband Reggie, Abelardo Garza, Wife Marivel, Elizabeth Garza, (Special Aunt) Wella Hernandez (Grandchildren) Veronica, Priscilla, Gina, Christina, Kandace, Carlos, Mariah, Allison, Jovoney, Gabriel, Gilberto, Ricky. (Special Friends) Alice & Daniel Rodriguez, Zabala Family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. To know her, was to love her, she was the life of the party and the heart of her family. To be loved by her was to be changed in the best way. She will be missed more than words can express.

A Funeral service to celebrate Beatrice's life will be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 2 PM where visitation will begin at 11 AM. A reception will follow at The Holy Family Parish Hall, 2602 Avenue N in Galveston immediately following the services. May she rest in peace.
