Bernardo "Bernie" Soto Ponce IV

Bernie at a young age of 44 years, passed away at his home in Galveston, TX on 03/20/2025.

Bernie was born in Galveston, TX, the youngest son to Bernardo "Bernie" Ponce III & Annabelle Rodriguez Ponce on August 28, 1980.

He was a 1999 Graduate from O'Connell High School in Galveston, TX.

Bernie loved spending time with his family and friends. Everyone knew him as "Little Bernie or Lil Bee".

Bernie was preceded in death by his parents and all grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Amy L Diaz-Ponce, stepson Brandon A Delossantos, brother Brian Ponce and wife Marbella, nieces Asia R Coronado Ponce and Kayla C Ponce.

He will be sadly missed by family, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and by all the friends he made throughout the years.

Pallbearers are Nick Torres, Daniel Castro, Chad Rios, Ayden Sanchez, Jared Sanchez & Brian Ponce.

Bernie's family will receive visitors from 9:00am until 10:00 am, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23rd St. Galveston, TX 77550

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23rd St. Galveston, TX 77550, with burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
