Bobby O. Lee, Sr. age 65, longtime owner of  Texas Roofing Company passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. Bobby was born on July 9, 1959 at St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston. He was so proud to be a BOI and spent his whole life taking care of the people of Galveston.

He was an avid sports fan and loved watching his grand babies play ball. Bobby worked the last years of his life for the City of Galveston where he formed some special relationships. He had so many friends. He will be greatly missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his Mother Betty Jo Meyer-Lee, father Bill Lee, step-father Wallace Lee, one brother Kenneth Johns and his beloved four legged child Sally Lee.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years Michele Hastings Lee, and the two most important people in his life, his son Bobby O. Lee, Jr and baby girl Kristin Rae Lee, the sun rose and set on them. He also leaves behind his beautiful grandchildren, Layla Ann Gallegos, Dylan Scott Lee, Kaitlyn Rylee Odom and Jack Royal Mallia. He loved them so, so much. His sisters Cherie Wright and Vivian Lee, his brother Billy Jack Lee, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 10:00am Saturday September 21, 2024, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home.
