Bonnie Evans Collins, age 88, of Alvin, Texas, peacefully passed away in her home on January 28, 2021.  She was surrounded by her loving family and faithful cat Kinzy, while the Heavenly music of Amazing Grace was playing.

Bonnie was born July 10, 1932 to Charles and Irene Evans. She worked for the Alvin ISD in the school cafeteria for over 20 years.  She loved going to garage sales, was an avid reader as well as a devoted cat owner. Sadly, for the last several years of life, Bonnie suffered from Dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Robert "Bob" Collins; her parents Charles and Irene Evans; and brother, Charles Evans Jr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Kerry (Joe) Matheu; son Keith (Angela) Collins; grandchildren Garrett (Adrien) Dominguez, Angelya (Jason) Parker, Melyssa (Ben) Bratton, Alexys Collins and Conner Collins; 6 great grandchildren; sisters Charlotte Hethcoat, Dayne White and Carol Hough; caregiver and friend Betty Wilson Sinibaldi; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Per Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Bonnie's name to your local animal shelter.
