Brian E Heller of Galveston Tx passed away at home with his wife by his side on July 7, 2026

Brian was born on June 5, 1961, to Sharon and Gene (Butch) Heller in Eau Claire WI.

Brian lived in Eau Claire until they moved to Lake Eau Claire where he lived for 20yrs with his family. In 2018 he made his home on the beach in Galveston with his wife Kim.

Brian will be remembered for his huge heart, kindness, wonderful sense of humor and strong work ethic.

Brian had a love for fast cars. He took pride in his 71-dodge challenger that he raced at rock falls speedway. In 2017 he bought his 2000 Trans AM which he also took great pride in. It was his 'baby'.

Brian loved fishing at the cottage with his son Josh and hunting with Josh.  WatchingJosh   play basketball. He never missed a game.

Growing up an adventurous rider, he loved to ride dirt bikes. Later in life he owned a BMW touring bike.

He also loved boating. He owned a cabin cruiser in Alma Marina on the Mississippi River for years.

Brian and Kim gave up boating for a motorhome. They traveled to many states and camped at Lake Chippewa.

Brian was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan. 'Go Pack'. He was also an avid reader, master griller. He loved everything about Christmas. Especially the lights during the holiday season.

Brian began his working career in high school at Colonial Services working for Dave Tibbits. He then took a position at UWEC S as a custodian. He worked his way up to university centers coordinator. Brian helped many students along the way. After 37 yrs he retired from UWEC.  After moving to Galveston, He took two yrs off. He then returned to the work force working for the Parks Board at Sea Wolf Park until his illness, a rare type of cancer prevented him from returning to his job.

Brian is survived by his loving wife of 41yrs, Kim Heller. His only son Josh Heller of Eau Claire and his handsome Golden Mr. Kota.
