Broadrick "Boobie" Davis 40 of Galveston died Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston in the care of Galveston County Sheriff's Department.

He was born March 9, 1982, in Galveston to Mrs. Cassandra Harris and Mr. Kevin Hanks.

Boobie attended GISD Schools loving and playing Football all the way to Ball High School. After coming out of high school he found out that he loved to cook, and it gave him great joy to cook for his family. His favorite things to do were watching sports and eating and playing with his nieces and nephews especially Jaeden. Boobie was their only son.

Brodrick was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Nettie Mae Davis and Mrs. Dorothy Murphy, stepfather, Ewing Harris, III, aunts, Rooney & Salena Hawthorn & Uncle Luther, aunt, Stephanie Hanks, cousins, Darryl Hawthorn and Tangie Murphy.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Mother, Cassandra, father, Kevin, sisters, Chasity, Kevinna, Sheneeka, Shenette and God sister Kristina. Uncles, Reginald Davis, Armon Moore, Terry Hanks and Timothy James. Aunts, Valerie Jackson, Melody Spurlock, Glenda Hanks, Jackie Salters and Debra Jones. Cousins, Renita Hawthorn, Shounda Hawthorn, Shange Murphy, Ransom Aldridge, Charuke Hanks and Takesha Megress. Nieces, Brea, Chelsea, Argiah, Coriana, Armoni, Ry'Leigh, Normani and Skyler. Nephews, Joe'den, Patrick, D'Ron, Demorius, Dion and Baby-Damien.

The graveside service will be held privately at Lakeview Cemetery the following week.

There will be a Re-Past at Franks Beauty Salon following the service Saturday, 33 ^rd & Market Street.
