Steve Woods, 71, passed away on May 6th, 2024 in Galveston, TX. He was a life-long Texan, born in Ft. Worth, TX on June 15, 1952.

Steve earned a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Rice University and held a longterm career at Boeing, notably serving on the U.S. Space Shuttle Program. After his retirement in 2011, he became very active in the Galveston Bay Parrot Heads Club, serving as Communications Director and Editor.

Steve will be remembered for his quick-witted humor and love of elaborate costume parties. "It's not worth doing if you're not going to dazzle."

He is survived by his children, Robert Kenneth Woods and James Michael Woods of Los Angeles, CA, and Jennifer Jean Woods of Chicago, IL; and by his sister, Pamela Ann Rogge of Yantis, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Francine, both laid to rest at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
