Charlotte Lorena Garcia age 73 of High Island passed away Wednesday April 1, 2020 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Private family services are being held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will be held at Houston National Cemetery in Houston on Thursday.

Charlotte was born September 21, 1946 in Amarillo, Texas to Herbert Hoover Wilson and Betty Jo Mosley Wilson. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where she served honorably as a medic. She will be remembered as a Beloved Child of God and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rest with the angels till we see you again.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years Edmond Lewis Garcia of High Island; daughters Rachael Tasha Marie Richards of Coppers Cove, Texas and Saundra Lorena Beth Bruce and husband Christopher of Jasper, Georgia; son Terrence R. Landrum and wife Cecilia of High Island; sister Delores Tucker of Georgia; 9 grandchildren Steven Landrum, Alexander Landrum, Mahal Landrum, Savannah Bruce, Meredith Bruce, Maya Bruce, Sydney Richards, Rachael Sanchez and Charlotte Richards; 2 great grandchildren Khynani Guidry and Olivia Bruce.
