Connor Andrew Martin, 25, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont St., Galveston, TX 77550.

He was born May 19, 1994 in Houston, Texas and attended Friendswood High School.  After graduation, Connor attended San Jacinto College and worked in the service industry while pursuing a number of entrepreneurial endeavors.

As a child Connor was in Scouts, played sports & airsoft and spent a lot of time gaming with friends.  Connor was a gregarious person that would strike up friendships with almost anyone he met.  He was always trying to help those around him, and would go to the aid of any friend in need.  With an infectious smile and a desire to fully enjoy life, he spent most of his time with his brother Corbin and close friends.  Connor was always kind and deeply loved by the people that knew him.  He always brought a smile that cheered even the saddest of souls. His happy attitude lifted those around him.

Connor enjoyed the unconventional things in life including a love for unstructured, spontaneous road trips and travel to other parts of the world with family and friends.  Connor was fiercely independent and wanted to live life on his own terms.  On his journey to find his own way, he met and fell in love with Susana Salazar his inseparable partner in life.  They had a collaborative and caring relationship, based on mutual support and a deep love for each other.

Connor will be missed but never forgotten. He will live in our hearts and memories until we meet him again in Heaven when our time comes too.
