David Bryan
Kelly
Jun 12, 1976 — Jan 21, 2024
Galveston
David Bryan Kelly was born June 12, 1976, on Galveston Island to Frances and Martin Kelly. David was diagnosed with Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy soon after he was born. That didn't stop David. He graduated from Ball High School and went on to volunteer at the Sunshine Academy. David always looked forward to having company. He would entertain visitors with stories about the times he would watch the people landing in parachutes. He gleamed with pride when he spoke about using the handheld radio to call in the landings. David was an avid STAR WARS fan. He collected memorabilia his entire life. David also loved to sing. His favorite song was All The Gold In California by the Gatlin Brothers. He knew all of the words. David ritually watched the Wizard of Oz, Wheel of fortune, Zoro, Dukes of Hazard, Wonder Woman, Superman and Sesame Street to name a few. David was fascinated with trains. He loved to tell the younger kids all about them. He kept a calendar by his chair and always knew how many days until Christmas as well as his birthday. On Halloween, David would put on his cape and gloves, sit on the porch, and hand out candy to the children. David loved to build LEGO sets. He was so proud of himself upon completion of the large-scale sets. He loved puzzles and word searches. David was a very special person and will be truly missed.
David is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Uncle Gary Grover Sr., and Aunt Beverly Henry.
He is survived by his Brothers; Homer Sullivan Jr. (Tina), Scott Sullivan (Renee), Jason Sullivan Sr. (Sandra).
