Earline Frances Cartwright age 85 of Galveston died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at her residence in Galveston. Funeral services are 11:00am Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, Deacon Sam Dell 'Olio officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00am Saturday.

Earline was born October 2, 1939 in Galveston, Texas to Earl F. St. Julien and Parphanie Navarre St. Julien. She graduated Central High School, Bearcat class of '57. She then moved to California where she began a career with the Department of Defense as a civilian in the U.S. Airforce working as comptroller. After her retirement she moved back to Galveston where she was employed in many areas of local life. She was employed with the Access Care of Coastal Texas for many years, and for GISD where she served as a bus aid in transportation. She was a lifelong, faithful Catholic and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her parents; grandmother Madam Mary Clotea, daughters Alexis Marie Cartwright and Angela Rae Cartwright; former husband and close friend to the end Charles Ray Cartwright, Sr. and close childhood friends that were more like siblings to her, Aunt Peggy, Uncle Bervick Holmes, Jr. and uncle Levy Williams. Survivors include granddaughters Jaron Treane Harris, Daunjanae Walker and Parphenia Cartwright; grandson Sir Christian Cartwright; great grandchildren Michael Earl St. Julien Wyatt, Wilnesha Alexis Marie Burrell, Valery Ahmad Epps, Kingston Walker, Alexis Wyatt, Kyree Walker, Kevaughn Tottenham, Le'Mauri Miles, Rajanae Huey-Walker, James Campbell, J'ace Crathin, Dre'dyn Sanders, Milliyn Alexander and Myla Alexander,; special friends Sherman Batiste Boyer, Aline Lattimore, Ruby Carter, Kurt, Aunt Mary Hicks and husband Malloy, Uncle Willie Woods, Jr. and a host of wonderful friends and relatives.
