Eduviges Nolasco Artiaga age 63 of Galveston died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services are 10:00am Monday January 11. 2022 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm where a vigil will be held at 6:30pm.

Eduviges was born March 6, 1958 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras to Roberto Nolasco and Maria Arteaga. She was a wonderful Christian woman and an awesome mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She moved to the USA in 1993 to work at the Flagship Hotel and at Pancho's Buffet on the Seawall. She then moved on to Casa Del Mar before becoming employed with UTMB in Housekeeping where she retired in 2013. She enjoyed helping with Food Drives and shopping at Thrift Stores.

Survivors include her mother Maria Arteaga of Honduras; daughter Juanita Nolasco; sons Mario Nolasco, Rony Nolasco all of Galveston and Juan Nolasco and Marlon Dominguez of Houston and Orlyn Dominguez of Honduras; numerous sisters and brothers; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Pallbearers are Mario Nolasco, Rony Nolasco, Juan Dominguez and other family members.
