Elisa "Lisa" Maria Fortini, born October 1, 1960, in Galveston, Texas, passed peacefully into her eternal home on June 11, 2026. She was the cherished daughter of Mary Helen Moreno and Alfonso Perez, Sr.

Welcoming her into Heaven are her beloved partner, Rusty Vann; her father, Alfonso Perez, Sr.; her brother, Alfonso Perez, Jr.; and numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lisa's memory will be lovingly carried on by her son, Blake Vann; her parents, Mary Helen and Victor Moreno, Jr.; her sister, Rina Segura (Danny); her brother, Victor Moreno, Jr. (Michelle); her nephews, Dan Segura (Casey), Al Perez (Maggie), Brett Fisher, and Sean Moreno (Samantha); her great-nephews, Rayln, Oliver, and Jameson; and her niece, Vivienne.

Lisa attended Ball High School, retired from Southwestern Bell/AT&T, and later spent the remainder of her career working at the Galveston County Central Appraisal District Tax Office.

She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her love of riding her bike along the seawall, her adventurous spirit and passion for travel, and most of all, her deep love and devotion to family and friends.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held 10:00 am Wednesday June 17 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Elks Lodge in Galveston, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Vann, Bubba Fortini, Victor Moreno, III, Keith Brandenburg, Troy Chason, and Dan Segura.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Lisa's honor be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or to a charity of your choice.
