Ernest Lloreda age 62 of Galveston passed away, surrounded by his loving family and friends, October 2nd, 2024 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Funeral Services are to be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 P.M.

Ernest was born August 21st, 1962 to James Vargas Lloreda and Yolanda Campos Lloreda in Galveston, Texas. Ernest was a kind and loving person with many talents. He was an artist, winning first place at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He also received a certificate in art from the Art Institute of Houston. He then went to Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, where he became a certified Master Motorcycle Mechanic. Ernest was a clever Jokester giving his many friends special nick names.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Robert Lloreda Sr.

Ernest is survived by his son Jacob Lloreda, brother James Lloreda III and wife Cristina, nieces Celeste Lloreda, Kelsey Lloreda and Lauren Turner, and two nephews Steven Lloreda and Robert Lloreda.

The family gives a special thanks to Cathy Rodriguez for always looking out for Ernest, and to Judy Jones for loving him.
