Francisca Flores Limones

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Francisca Flores Limones,  mother of eight, passed away at age eighty-six.

Francisca was born February 1, 1936, to the late Tomasa Aguilar and Jose Flores. Francisca was a strong believer in the Roman Catholic faith.  She was employed for many years at The Flagship Hotel and Western Sizzler. She worked for Mr. and Mrs. Mignerey owners of the Western Sizzler until her retirement. Francisca loved and adored their children as if they were her own grandchildren.

Francisca is survived by her precious daughter, Marylou Lopez (Fidencio), Nancy (Gaona) Limones Rosemary Limones, Judy(Bertolino, Pendergast) Limones. Francisca also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Francisca was preceded by her husband Jesus M Limones Sr., sons, Jesse Limones Jr., Jimmy Limones Sr., Jerry Limones Sr., daughter Beatrice Limones Achord; her beloved parents Jose Flores and Tomasa Aguilar, her sisters Eva Chapa Ruiz, Dominga Reyna, Guadalupe Gonzales, Mary Louisa Reyna and brother Rafael Flores.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston from 5:00-8:00 pm, with a Rosary starting at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons Bino Gaona, Roddy Gaona, Jesus Limones, Jimmy Limones Jr., Joseph Limones Sr., John Bertolino Jr. Brandon Limones Sr., Jerry Limones Jr., Stephen Limones, Jeremy Limones, Richard Limones, Dylan Gaona.

Honorary Pallbearers, Paul Robins, Diego Elizondo, Gabriel Elizondo, Alex Ramos, Rudy Ramirez, Billy Achord, Micheal Achord, Jimmy Limones III, Jaxon Lopez and Damien McZeal Jr.

Francisca had many loved friends especially; Mary Limones, Lucy Moreno, Lupe Garza, Becky Garza

The Limones family would like to give a very special gratitude to the nursing staff on the ninth and tenth floor of Jennie Sealy Hospital.
