Frank Rodriguez age 91 of Galveston died Thursday December 14, 2023 at UTMB in Galveston. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home followed by graveside services at Lakeview Cemetery.

Frank was born on January 29, 1932 in Beaumont, Texas to Bonifacio and Maria Rodriguez. He was a Navy Veteran who fought in the Korean war.  After serving, he married the love of his life, Doris Garcia and started a family in Galveston, Texas. He was a Life Insurance Agent with American National Insurance Company for 26 years. Although he firmly believed that he could have been a pharmacist while he delivered for Star Drug Store. He was retired for the past 30 years.  He was an avid sports fan of Texas teams, including the Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved being around his family and friends. Frank was a proud father and a loving grandfather that left his mark on all of their lives.

Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse Rodriguez, Marcus Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, and Angelo Rodriguez; and only sister Lucy Valle.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris Rodriguez; his daughters Corina Rodriguez, Cynthia Hines and husband, Darion Hines; his grandchildren Aaron Polanco and wife, Reni Polanco, Andrea Polanco and Adam Polanco.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Polanco, Adam Polanco, Darion Hines, Eugene 'Gino' Gonzalez , Danny Rodriguez, and Robert Rodriguez.
