Gerardo Hernandez age 37 of Bacliff died Friday, January 7, 2022 at Jennie Sealy Hospital. Funeral services are 11:00am Tuesday January 11. 2022 at The Word of Faith Christian Center 4900 East 21 ^st St Dickinson, Texas 77539. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00am.

Gerardo was born April 29, 1984 in Obregon, Mexico to Ruben Hernandez and Lorenza Herrera. He was a Landscaper by trade and a hardworking man. He loved his children dearly and always wanted to see them succeed. He was a very kind hearted man was also a great jokester.

Preceded in death by his mother Lorenza Herrera Hernandez and a son Adriel Omar Hernandez, survivors include his father Ruben Hernandez of Obregon, Mexico; daughter Briana Hernandez and son Enrique Hernandez both of Bacliff; sister Maria Martinez of Phoenix, AZ; brothers Jesus Martinez of Phoenix, AZ, Mario Martinez of Bacliff and Carlos Alvarado of Bacliff; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Jesus Martinez, Mario Martinez, Carlos Alvarado, Felipe Felix, Manuel Herrera and Teo Herrera.
