Obituary

Glen Allen Oldman born August 10, 1935 in Roscoe OK to Hodge H Oldham and Florence E Beard went to his eternal reward September 13th, 2022
Preceded in death by the love of his life Keiko T Oldham whom he married in Tokyo
Japan in 1956.
Glen was a man of many trades in his earlier life: mechanic, pilot ,builder and made donuts at a shop he once owned. He gave flying lessons at Flyers Avition and ran a company, Woodside Construction.
Glen liked spending time on his boat, fishing and riding his Motorcycle.
He enjoyed spending time with friends and his dear church family, Shawn and Rebecca Plant, Aaron, Hannah and Gabe Plant and especially Kelsey Gann.
During his last years he loved his time with his adopted family, Monique Beard , Kassidy Tinoco, Kenneth Sparks, Kenneth Sparks jr, Anthony Sparks and Sandra Perez, who took care of him.
Glen was an Army Veteran who proudly served from August 14, 1952 to January 16, 1962 earning a Purple Heart in combat in the Korean War.
Glen was a treasured dedicated member of Turning Point Church of Galveston and was a Honored member of their Veterans Support ran by his dear friend Douglas Miller. He was a kind and loving soul and will be missed.
His final resting place will be alongside his wife at Houston National Cemetery.
A prayer service will be held October 2, 2022 at 5:30pm at Turning Point Church 4124 Broadway Galveston TX 77550
