Graciela Gonzalez-Perales

February 13, 1937- October 27, 2023

Graciela Perales affectionately known as "Chela" or "Grandma Chula" Went home to be with Jesus on Friday October 27, 2023.

Chela was born in Nueva Rosita, Mexico moved to Iowa and then later to Texas, where she raised her 8 children.

Graciela was a loving mother, grandmother and great great grandmother.

She was an entrepreneur who always found a way for her children to have everything they needed and would do the same for her grandchildren and grea- great grandchildren. Graciela loved everyone with her whole heart. Her door was always open to help anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents Demetrio and Juanita Gonzalez, daughter Esther, sons Ted and Samuel.

Graciela is survived by her children and their families Rosa Yolanda Villarreal, Maria Esther Craven, Zulemma Perales-Patterson, Joseph Anthony Perales, Jorge Humberto Perales, and Juan Israel Sandoval. Her four sisters and brother; Elizabeth Perales, Rosalinda Martinez, Lydia Valera, Raquel Vela, and Juan Gonzalez. Many nieces and nephews, as well as many many grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was deeply loved and adored by all of us.

Chela would love to walk and sit by the beach and find sea shells. She will be greatly missed! Rest in love our most beautiful and beloved Grandma Chula.
