In Loving Memory

Gregoria Gutierrez age 94 of Galveston died Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at her home in Dayton. Funeral Services are 10:00am Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Gregoria Gutierrez was born in El Salvador, where she began a beautiful life filled with love, faith, family, and cherished memories. Throughout her life, she was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and a beloved member of her family. She was blessed with eight children and leaves behind a beautiful legacy that continues through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Her greatest joy was her family, and she treasured every moment spent surrounded by the people she loved. She was a woman of strong faith who found comfort and happiness in going to church. She also loved going to the beach, traveling, shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her warmth, love, and presence brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Rosa Garcia, Petronila Garcia, Virginia Benitez, Roberto Gutierrez, Daniel Gutierrez, Rosalina Gutierrez, Nelson Gutierrez, and Jorge Gutierrez.

She also leaves behind 20+ grandchildren, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory and the love she gave them in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us, her love, faith, and legacy will live on through the generations she leaves behind. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
