Hector Manuel Soni Infante, 51 years old, passed away peacefully from this life Thursday morning, August 22, 2024, at his home in Galveston, Texas.

Born on August 11th, 1973, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. To his father, Timoteo Soni-Contreras, and his mother, Eloiza Infante-Alejo.

Hector was a kind and caring man who always put others' needs before his own. Spending time with his family and friends has always brought him a lot of joy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and cherished friend to many. In his free time, he loved to ride his Kawasaki Vulcan and spend time with his granddaughter Alana, who was the most important part of his life.

His favorite memories were cooking his favorite dishes for family and friends. He was beyond happy when his family was always together. Everyone who knew Hector knew how much his kids were his proudest joy, and happy to know the accomplishments they have made.

Hector will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and the way he would always laugh. We'll always imagine hearing his voice one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better parent, and will be missed everyday. His memory will forever live in the hearts of all those who loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rocio Gonzalez; his children, Christian Soni, Iraira Soni, and Hiram Soni; his granddaughter, Alana Soni; daughter-in-law, Lilian Zuniga; brother-in-law (Lupe), Jose Gonzalez; cousin Anabell Hernandez Soni; his niece and nephew, Lesly Garcia and Eduard Garcia, and extended family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Timoteo Soni-Contreras, and his mother, Eloiza Infante-Alejo.

Visitation honoring his life will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 23d St, Galveston, TX where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p. m.  The funeral service will be held at 12:00noon Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Galveston.
