In the very early morning of March 28, 2022, Jeffrey Ryan Gallier opened the door to his new world and quietly stepped away from us.  It was probably the only thing that Jeff ever did quietly and without discussion.

Jeff was born on July 30, 1984 to parents Rusty (Vernon) and Caron (Carnes) Gallier and his eagerly awaiting sister, Kristen.  It is not enough to say he was simply 'born' on a certain day. Our Jeff leapt into this world and our hearts with all the enthusiasm necessary to find joy in his journey.   We're pretty certain he didn't speak Latin or know the words Carpe diem, but he arrived knowing how to seize the day.  He had the darkest brown eyes and a pair of dimples to charm the hardest heart and a couple of curious, eager hands that could put any pet racoon to shame.  His ability to test the patience of those around him was beyond measure. We'll just say he was quite entertaining, aka, a busy child. For quite some time he was better known as "Stop, Jeff", "No, Jeffrey", or "Do you want me to pull the car over, Jeffrey?" And one of his replies to that question was "Jesus said, Do not harm the little children".  He was never without an answer.

He began his primary school incarceration at St. Peter's Episcopal School where discharging cap guns and exploding golf balls kept teachers on the alert and a required weapon check (pat down) before leaving home. His classroom entertainment created a fast friendship with one Father Skyles. While other children avoided knowing Father Skyles, Jeff was fearless.  Pushing his luck may have required a visit, but he enjoyed the time and the conversation.  Occasionally, The Parent was invited to impromptu meetings. As a note, Jeff did not welcome all invitees and preferred the private meetings.  He later attended Zion Lutheran School. In 2003, with the perspiration of a Mother's brow staining the parchment on the diploma, he graduated from Dickinson High School.   After all the years of pulling teeth to reach a parental goal, it seemed he really was interested in education and continued at Texas City College of the Mainland.  He later attended TSTC at Waco, 2006-2008 where he completed and received, not one, but two Certification Degrees in:  Auto Collision Management/Refinishing Specialist and Auto Collision Management/Repair Specialist. After college, he worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

In 2012, Jeffrey married Barbie Bisbee. A Halloween wedding with carnival foods and costumes were all part of a night to remember. The family was completed with the addition of furbabies Luna, Charlie, and Zombie.  Jeff and Barbie were completely devoted to each other and their bond will remain unbroken.

His absence in our lives leaves a hole that will never be filled. Our time with him was much too short.  Jeffrey will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barbie Gallier, his parents, Rusty and Caron Gallier, his sister Kristen (John) Brown, and his niece and nephew, Luke and Avery Brown. His fur-children, Charlie and Zombie, will certainly miss his presence. He also leaves behind his in-laws Norma (David) Bisbee, Donel and Andrew Rourke,Tristan and Trinity Rourke, Gavin Shirley, David Alex Bisbee, April (Grady) Perry as well as Donna (Ken) Savage, and Dr.Don Powell. Jeff will forever be remembered, with so much love, by his Gallier and Carnes aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be:  David Bisbee, Jonathan Demon, Tristan Rourke, Brendan Wells, John Brown, Justin Kutch.  Honorary Pallbearers are Scott Whitted, Eric Kutch, and CC (Curtis) Carnes.
