Jerry Limones,
Sr.
Mar 12, 1966 — Nov 22, 2020
Galveston
Jerry Limones Sr., age 54 of Galveston passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at his residence in Galveston. The family will welcome friends for visitation beginning at 5pm on Friday, November 27, 2020. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:30pm at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home (Galveston).
Jerry Limones Sr. was born March 12, 1966 in Galveston to Jesus M. Limones and Francis Flores Limones. Jerry previously worked as a warehouse manager for Applied Technologies, Industrial Air Tool and also in landscaping for T & L Lawn Service. Jerry loved to barbeque, go fishing, shoot a good game of pool, and also to work in the yard. When it came to listening to his music, classic country (couldn't get enough of "the possum") and musica corridos were also his favorites. He could always crack a good joke at the right time, but be ready because he nearly ALWAYS had a good "come back" quote no matter what you would say. Jerry was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed being around his family and the times that he could spend with those he loved. Jerry was an avid proud Houston Texans and Houston Astros fan.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father-Jesus M. Limones Sr., brothers-Jesse Limones Jr., Jimmy Limones Sr. and sister-Beatrice Limones Achord.
He leaves behind many memories with his companion, Diana Ashton, his children; Jerry Limones Jr. and Steven Limones of Galveston; Jeremy Limones, Richard Limones and Lillian Limones of LaMarque. His mother, Frances F. Limones of Galveston, his sisters; Marylou Lopez husband Fidencio of Galveston, Nancy (Limones) Galicia of Lake Jackson, Rosemary Limones of Galveston and Judy (Bertolino) Limones of Hitchcock.
Sharing also in his loss are his grandchildren; Joshua D. Randle Jr., Jaidon T. Randle and Jaleah E. Randle. His nephews; Jimmy Limones Jr, Joseph Limones Sr., Brandon Limones Sr., John Bertolino Jr., Bino Gaona, Roddy Gaona, Jesus Limones, Billy Achord, Michael Achord, and Rudy Ramirez; nieces Marisa Lopez Beal, Maricella Lopez, Marivel Lopez, Crystal Gaona, Diana Limones Elizondo, Jessica Limones McZeal, Kathy Limones Zamora, Maria Limones, Patricia De Los Santos, and Tina Molina and Amuri Limones. Also saddened by his loss include his godson Dillon Gaona, an uncle Ralph Flores, and the mothers of his children, Mary Limones and Lucy Moreno; many cousins and friends that were like family.
A special Thanks to Diana's children for the love and support they have given Jerry through these past years and Daijon that loved Jerry as a grandpa.
After the visitation and funeral service, Jerry's wishes were to be cremated. The Limones family would like to thank everyone for their kind words during this difficult time of sorrow.
We welcome visitors to wear their best Houston Texans or Houston Astros attire, as to what Jerry would have wanted and Masks must be worn.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Jerry's memory to his sister Rosemary Limones and Mary Limones.
To Jerry (EsTodo); Your wings were ready but our hearts were not! Till we see you again.
