Jessa Elaine Kendrick, age 8, of Houston, Texas, passed away on March 16, 2024, in Houston, TX. Born on December 15, 2015, Jessa was a loving, sweet, and kind- hearted girl who never met a stranger. She had a passion for gymnastics and was a dedicated teammate in the lassie league.

Jessa attended 2nd grade at Bay Elementary and worshipped at the Church of the Living God. In her free time, she enjoyed playing softball, practicing gymnastics, drawing, and attending church.

Jessa is survived by her mother Shelley Nicole Rincon-Postell, stepfather Carlos B Rincon, great- grandmother Mary Cellar, grandparents Winford and Doris Kendrick, uncle Jason Ramirez, uncle Ben Postell, aunts Susan and Shelia Kendrick, brother Joseph Rincon, sister Lydia Postell, and numerous cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Daniel Postell and aunt Lydia Frantz.

A service in memory of Jessa will be held 12:00 noon Saturday April 6, 2024, at Church of the Living God in Galveston with a viewing at 10 am. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Go Fund Me sponsored by Uncle Nate Newton. The Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston is assisting with the funeral arrangements.
