Jimmy John Herzik age 56 of Dickinson, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2025, at HCA Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas. Born March 10, 1969, in Austin, TX, Jimmy spent most of his life in Latexo, TX where he graduated Latexo High School with the class of 1989.

Jimmy lit up the room anywhere he went, with his love for Christ, funny antics and passion for life. He was the source of Joy for many people, leaving no place untouched by his contagious laugh and unconditional love.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leo John Herzik Sr., Patti Ober Herzik and brother Leo Herzik Jr. He is survived by his two nephews Leo Herzik III, Joshua Herzik and Niece Regina Herzik AKA Mom and Misty Herzik. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews Sabrina Stuart AKA sister and husband Jarrett; Stuart Katelynn Newman AKA sister and husband Jacob Newman, Jessica Herzik AKA sister Kimberly Herzik AKA sister Cameron Smith-Herzik, Kayleigh Herzik, Alisha Snodgrass, Brandon Snodgrass and Jonathon Snodgrass great-great nieces and nephews Aiden Stuart, Nevaeh Stuart, Aubrey Newman, Baeleigh Stuart and Bentlee Newman.
