Johnny Roque, age 82, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at Jennie Sealy Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Carnes Funeral Home Galveston from 10:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M.

Johnny was born March 14, 1941, in Galveston, Texas. Johnny retired as a Merchant Marine where he traveled to many parts of the world. Johnny love spending time with family and friends barbequing and listening to old school R&B and Spanish music. Johnny loved watching his Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys. Johnny could always be found styling in his Stacy Adams and his Fedora.

Preceded in death by parents Antonia and Faustino Copado, biological father Frank Roque. Johnny is survived by his daughters Lisa Romero (Ed) Connie Russell (Joel) sisters Connie Byers (Bubba William) Rosemary Patlan (Michael) Rachel Copado and brothers Robert Roque (Yolanda) Humberto Roque and Larry Copado.

Grandchildren Christina Perez, Eddie Romero, Crystal Alfaro, Ryan Munoz and 8 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
