Jose Angel Vargas, 78 de edad, de galveston, fallecio el Jueves, 7 de Septiembre 2023 en su residencia. Servicios funerarios son alas 5:00 – 7:00 pm para la visitacion y el rosario alas 7:00 – 8:00 pm el Martes, en la Carnes Hermanos Funeraria en Galveston.

Nacido el 12 de October del 1944 en Hierbabuenas, Zacatecas Mexico. Padres Pedro Vargas y Romana Morales Vargas.  Jose era un esposo y padre devoto. Era un tapisero en el condado de Galveston por mas de 50 anos con su propio negocio. Jose era conocido por su caridad . El era parroquiano de la Reyna de la paz y  voluntario de los hacheros. Jose  proporciono para su familia. El senor Vargas le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amistades. Le gustaba escuchar musica rancheras y jugar villar, cartas y domino.

Precedido en la muerte por su Esposa de 50 anos Minerva Ibarra Vargas, Hijo Gerardo Vargas, Padres Pedro Vargas, y Romana Morales Vargas y otros familiares.  Sobrevivientes incluyen a su hijo Jose V. Fuentes

Jose Angel Vargas, age 78, of Galveston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his residence with his family. A memorial service will be held at 5: 00 – 7:00 pm for visitation and, rosary will be from 7:00pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Carnes Brothers funeral home in Galveston for immediate family.

Born on October 12, 1944 in Hierbabuenas, Zacatecas Mexico. Parents Pedro Vargas and Romana Morales Vargas. Jose was a devoted husband and father. He was an upholsterer in Galveston County for over 50 years with his own business. Jose was known for his charity. He was a parishioner of the Queen of Peace and a volunteer with the woodmen. Jose provided for his family. Mr. Vargas liked to spend time with his family and friends. He liked to listen to ranchera music and play pool, cards and dominoes.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Minerva Ibarra Vargas, Son Gerardo Vargas. Survivors Son Jose V. Vargas wife Monica. Daughter Elizabeth Gomez and husband Alex.  Daughter Minerva Gomez and husband Luis. Grandchildren; Nicholas Vargas, Jose D. Vargas, Juan E. Vargas, Alejandro M. Vargas, Miranda N. Vargas, Celeste E. Trevino, Mario A. Trevino, Jr., Maricela A. Santo, German A. Santos, Jr., and Jonathan I. Santos; Great grandchildren Nicholas A. Vargas, Mayah A. Vargas, Jourdan A. Maza, Rosalynn E. Fuentes, and Delilah G. Fuentes
