Jose David Ventura Romero age 52 of Galveston passed away Sunday July 5, 2020 at Jennie Sealy Hospital in Galveston. Funeral services are 12:00noon Friday July 10, 2020 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 9:00am.

Jose was born September 29, 1967 in Santanita Morazan, El Salvador to German Ventura and Carmen Romero. He was a member of the Christian Church, a contractor by trade and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife Ada Marlene Ventura; daughters, Maribel Maldonado (Victor), Eliana Chavez and Wendy Ventura (Jonathan); sons George Chavez (Amber) and David Ventura (Aleyah); 9 grandchildren Noemi, Anabel Marieli, Delaney, Junior, Yulissa, Melanie, Genesis and Zamayah; numerous sisters, brothers,, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
