Joseph James Schreiber Jr.

Joe was a loving Husband and Father proceeded in death by his wife Bonnie, mother Ellaree, father Joseph Sr. and brother Donnie.

Mourning the passing of their loved one, daughter Mareia, brother Ronnie and wife Catherine, God child Wiley and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles. nieces and nephews.

Joe was well known for his Kindness, Friendship and Cooking Expertise. Joseph was always there for support when he was able to provide that for anyone he knew.

Joe attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Kirwin High School in Galveston, TX. In 1961, as a senior, playing on the Kirwin High School Varsity football team, he and his fellow team members, with Hurricane Carla approaching won the TCIL State Football Championship.

Joe moved to Metairie, La. where his wife Bonnie attended and graduated from Sacred heart Dominican College.  In Louisiana, Joseph attended Culinary School and received an Executive Culinary Certificate and License.

Joe moved back to Galveston where he was employee by Landry's Restaurant Cooperation until he retired. There was no dessert dish or Entrée that Joseph was unable to prepare or master.

Joe loved and enjoyed the outdoor life, bird hunting became his passion. He collect many birds that he mounted on the wall and was very proud of each accomplishment. One of his biggest pleasures was cooking on the grill out by pool and enjoying life to the fullest.
