GALVESTON Joshua Nicholas Branch age 35 went home to be with the Lord Saturday November 2, 2019 in Chambers County, Texas.  Funeral services will be held 10:00am Saturday, November 9, 2019 with visitation beginning at 9:00am at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, Reverend Heather Gates officiating.

Joshua was born March 19, 1984 in Galveston, Texas to David Branch, Sr. and Sherry Boydston Branch. Joshua professed his faith in Jesus Christ when he was 21 years old. He was a free spirit that preferred to be outside and so it was that he passed away in the outdoors that he loved. Joshua had a big heart and helped others that he knew and met to the best of his ability.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Rudy and Viola Branch, maternal grandparents Ronny Lee and Mary Jo Boydston. Survivors include father David Branch, Sr.,  mother Sherry Dale Branch, step mother Sandra Westoates, brother David Branch, Jr., aunt Linda Phillips, cousins Zachary and Kimberly Phillips, Claissa Silva, Andrew Gilletti, III, uncle Ronnie Boydston, aunts Penny Janke, Theresa McCafferty and numerous other aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
