The Legacy of Life for Juanita Anderson Bosette "TUTA"
Juanita Williams Anderson Bosette age 98 of Galveston passed into eternity Thursday, August 22, 2024, while at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services are 10:00am Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Cemetery 3015 59th St Galveston, Texas 77551. Visitation will begin at 9:00am Saturday at the funeral home.
Juanita Elizabeth Williams was born to Robert Castleton and Della Mae on April 1, 1926, in Galveston, Texas. She was the first child of 6 children. She was educated in the Galveston Public School system during the time of segregation. She graduated at the age of 16 years old from Central High School in 1943. Juanita was a BOI and a lifelong resident of Galveston Island.
Later, she met and married her first love and love of her life, Floyd Maurice Bosette. From that loving union was born their son, with whom she had a special relationship and loving bond, Ronald M. Bosette.
Juanita accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of Wesley Tabernacle United Methodist Church where she served in the United Methodist Women and the Usher Board. Juanita was an active member until her health prevented her from attending.
She started her career in 1954 working in the business community as a Retail Associate and ending as a Retail Merchandiser. Juanita retired in 1974.
Juanita leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving son and daughter-in-law; Ronnie and Lynn Bosette of Galveston; surviving and devoted brother; Charles Williams, Sr. of Missouri City, grandsons; Marques Bosette, Daniel Bosette and Kyle Davis, all of California. Granddaughter Lauren Davis of California; Great-granddaughter: London Davis of Galveston and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who loved her dearly!!
Ms. Bosette was predeceased by her first husband; Floyd M. Bosette, second husband, Frank Anderson, mother and father: Della Mae Williams and Robert Castleton Williams, Sr. Siblings; Robert Williams, Jr., Billy Williams, Sr., Daisy Williams and Betty Williams Taylor. Devoted sisters-in-law; Delores Williams, Jessie Mae Williams and Rosalyn Williams and loving Aunts; Earlie Evans (Momma), Doris Revis, Bessie Toussant, and Harriet. Uncles; Breelove and Morris Smith.
