June Arlene Ryman, 91 from Galveston, TX went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born November 9, 1931 in Houston, Texas to Horton Horace and Alta Mae Ingersoll. They moved to Edinburg, TX where she graduated from Edinburg High School, then met and married Harold Ray Ryman. June received her BS degree from Pan American College and went on to teach elementary school for 30+ years in McAllen and Smithville, TX. June loved spending time with family and friends, especially her children, grandbabies and great grandbabies. June was a beacon of light to many people. She relied on her faith in Jesus Christ to guide her way and was always willing to help others. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in McAllen, Rosanky Baptist Church in Smithville, and attended Coastal Community Church in Galveston. She loved to laugh and was never afraid to laugh heartily at herself.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Horton Horace and Alta Mae Ingersoll and her husband, Ray Ryman.

She is survived by her children, Raylene Ryman Truxton; daughter and husband Mark Truxton, Jeannean Ryman; daughter, Jennifer Ryman; daughter and husband Pat Miller, Mark Ryman; son and wife Kim Ryman. Grandchildren: Krystle  Gregory (Richie San Gregory), Kristopher Truxton (Jessica Truxton), Kyle Truxton (Morgan Haynes),  Paige Lerche (Lane Lerche), Kristin Bouvier (Robert Bouvier) and Kade Ryman.  Great-grandchildren; Lily June San Gregory, Noah San Gregory, Brodey Ryman, Riley Ryman, Kamdyn Brown, Carter Bouvier, and Harrison Truxton, nephews Greg Keller, Steven Keller and Gary Keller, nieces Patti Cook and Debbie Wood Keller, great nephews and nieces and friends. During her last years, June was attended to by Aris Tan and all the loving caregivers at The Meridian in Galveston who we will always be grateful to.

June will continue to be loved and missed by so many. She will forever be our guiding light and always in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be held at The Meridian Chapel (2228 Seawall Blvd. Galveston, Texas 77550) on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10:30 am followed by a gathering in the auditorium for one of June's favorite lunches; Whataburger and Hey Mikey's ice cream. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen, TX. on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
