Junius Shinette III age 55 of Galveston Gained His Wings Friday March 10, 2023, at his residence. Funeral services are 11:00am Saturday March 18, 2023, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston with the Reverend Alvin Shinette officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 AM till service time.

Junius was born June 17, 1967, in Galveston to Junius Shinette, Jr. and Mary Archangel. He grew up in Galveston attending public schools and graduating from Ball High School. He continued his life working, being the crab man and loved fishing. Above all he was a loving and dedicated father, son, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Shinette and brother, Terrance Shinette. Survivors include his children; Vesha Lundy, June Marie Lundy, Junius Shinette IV, Junius Shinette V, Shakia Shinette, Mahogany Shinette, Kadejah Shinette and Trey Shinette. Grandchildren; Maron III, Mariah, La'Darius Jr., Kareem, Zayda, Tristian, Tyra and Naomi. Sisters; Frances Hubbard (Kim), Shamus Robbins (Reginald) and Misty Shinette Wilson. Brother; Simminette Drake Shinette (Keisha).
