Lauren Ashley Whitmer, 38, passed away on September 23, 2024 at UTMB Hospital in Galveston, TX.

Lauren was born in Victoria, TX on August 28, 1986, and was the middle daughter of Patricia Marchetti. Despite passing away far too young, Lauren packed into her short thirty-eight years more adventures and experiences than any of us could hope for in a lifetime. Lauren had a lifelong love for music and a creative and free spirit that made an impression on everyone she met. Lauren's irresistible smile and sense of humor brought her countless friends throughout her life.

Lauren is survived by her loving family, including her mother Patricia Marchetti, sister Lindsay Stevenson, brother Derek Whitmer, nieces Brooke and Viviana, and her nephew Colton, as well as her best friend, Whitney Pakalka, and Lauren's loyal canine companion, Layne. Lauren is predeceased by her fiancé Andrew Killham, step father John Marchetti, sister Danielle Whitmer, and brother Nick Whitmer.

Although Lauren was taken from us far too soon, her spirit and memory will forever remain with all those that knew and loved her.
