This is Lisa's husband, Eric. I would like to inform you all that our beloved Lisa went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 23rd at 11:51 P.M. after a beautifully and faithfully fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

She kept God as the center of her focus even in the hardest times and continues to draw people to Jesus now and for years to come through the example/impact she left on so many.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father James "Curtis" Driver. Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years Eric Koplinski; sons Andrew and wife Brittanie Koplinski and Gabriel and wife Victoria Koplinski; mother Gladys Bebe Driver; brother David Kirk Driver; sisters Theresa Morgan and Michelle Driver, numerous other relatives and friends.

We will be having a celebration of Lisa's life on Saturday, March 2nd at 2 P.M. at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, followed by a reception at Antioch Church.

Lisa graduated from Stephen F Austin H.S. and worked at Fed Mart pharmacy all thru High school as an after-school program. She then furthered her education at San Jacinto Community College, graduated and worked for a Legal Temp Agency (for a while.) Then she started her own Legal Temp Agency. She was in business in Houston on her own for 2 years before working for Bracewell & Patterson for a couple years. In 1989 she took a job down in Galveston and worked for Attorney Robert Moore.

I met Lisa in 1990 with her brother Kirk that I worked with in the Construction of building a mini-Golf course.  On May 9th, 1992, I married the love of my life.  We started attending Church of the Living God later in that Year. She mentored in children's church with Walter and Pat Griggs and later became Children's Pastor until 2008 after Hurricane Ike. She later moved to "Faith for All Nations" Church in Clear Lake as children's Pastor. Lisa was an ordained Minister at FFAN on December 9th 2012. Serving as Children's Pastor there until 2021. (after the Covid shutdowns).

I found a coin in Lisa's bedside table. The paper that was folded over the small copper coin and was written by Lisa in a pink folded paper. "mailed to me" labeled "a widows might". I looked up the verse about a widows might which is:

Luke 21:1-4 (Jesus Saying)

"For all these out of their abundance have put in offerings, but she out of Her poverty put in All the livelihood that she had."

This verse represents how Lisa lived her life, Loving God, Family & others.
