Luciano Juarez, age 78, of Galveston, entered eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at his residence in Galveston. Funeral services are 10:00am Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Carnes brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 8:00pm where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm.

Luciano was born June 30, 1946 in Zaragoza, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He moved to Galveston in 1979 and started working at the cotton warehouses where he worked for more than 30 years. He was well known for his concrete work and his carpentry skills too. He was always willing to help out anyone in need. He enjoyed spending weekends in his backyard barbecuing and listening to music, with his family and friends, and he loved his boxer dogs.

Luciano is proceeded in death by his Father- Genaro Juarez, Mother- Rosa Montoya, Brother- Guadalupe Juarez, Sister- Carmela Juarez, Daughter - Martha Juarez, Son in Law - Eduardo Lujan

He is survived by his wife Basilia Juarez, and his children; Son - Ramon Juarez and wife Nelda, Daughter­ Rosa Juarez Lujan, Daughter -Anna Juarez and husband Ricardo, Son - Luciano Juarez II and wife Claudia, Son - Genaro Juarez and wife Alicia, Son in law - Domingo Rodas, also by his 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Steven Ramon Juarez, Miguel Angel Juarez, Luciano Juarez Ill, Austin Lujan, Genaro Juarez jr, Christian Juarez, and great- grandson; Donovan Caleb Martin
