In honor and memory of Mary Francis Autrey Shaw. Born on February 22 ^nd , 1942 and went home to her Lord and Savior to receive her eternal reward on Monday, March 30 ^th , 2020. She was preceded in death by her Mother Olga C. Armstrong and Father Arthur Autrey Sr.; her brothers Arthur Autrey Jr., Edward Autrey, and Albert Autrey. Also preceding was her husband, John A. Shaw, the loving father of her two daughters. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Shaw-Ashworth and Victoria Shaw-Geiger; her two sisters, Della Moore and Daisy Joy; one brother, Marvin Autrey; five grandchildren, Clifton Ashworth Jr., Thomas Geiger Jr., Mary Geiger-Davis, Courtney Geiger, and Logan Geiger; and five great grandchildren, Scarlett Ashworth, Jackson Ashworth, Emmaline Sword, Piper Sword, and Owen Davis, and numerous family and friends.

Many who knew Mary remember her as a sweet, caring, servant of the Lord's work. She was known as the "peanut brittle lady," making and selling peanut brittle to raise money for church funds. She was there for those in their time of need. She raised her two daughters, and cared for her brother, Albert, as if he was her son. She was also a Sunday School teacher at her church, Abundant Life Church in Galveston, that she loved dearly. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
