Melanie Mendoza age 8 of San Leon, Texas died Monday December 21, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Funeral services are 6:30pm Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 5:00pm Sunday.

Melanie was born March 28, 2012 in Austin, Texas. She was a happy 3 ^rd grader who loved school and her Siblings. She was the light of her parent's eyes and she will live in our hearts forever. Rest little Angel until we see you again.

Survivors include her mothe and step father Soledad Mendoza and Ruben Moreno; siblings Crystal Mendoza, Marely Mendoza, Adali Moreno and Geovany de Paz; grandparents Analilia Osornio and Ramiro Mendoza; cousin Miguel Barco and wife Bernice; uncles Ramiro Mendoza, Jr. and Luis Mendoza.
