GALVESTON Michael Werner Elliott, Sr. age 65 of Texas City passed away Saturday November 2, 2019 at The Heart Hospital at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster. Funeral services are 6:30pm Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Gulf Coast Foursquare Church in Hitchcock, Pastor John Elliott officiating. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm Tuesday at the church under the direction of Carnes Brothers Funeral Home.

Michael was born September 28, 1954 in Robstown, Texas to Amos Alfred Elliott and Frances Christine Ryan. After his education he enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served his country honorably. He was employed at Baker-Hughes Companies for many years, a job he dearly loved.  He was a wonderful and loving son, husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife Linda Carole Elliott of Texas City; mother Frances Jones of Lumberton, Texas, father Amos Elliott and wife Jacque of Deer Park, Texas; daughters Stephanie Elliott of Cleveland, Texas, Christina Aronson and husband Michael of Richmond, Texas and Jenny Wampler of Texas City; son Michael Werner Elliott, Jr. and wife Leah of Tarkington, Texas; sister Barbara Bell of Lumberton, Texas; step sisters, Terri Young of Katy, Texas and Tammy Bockholt and husband Myron of Deer Park, Texas; grandchildren, Aila, Aria, Amia, Aedox, Adeline, Paisley, Alex, Tyler and Kayla.
