Michael Bernard Parks 74 of Galveston passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Saturday September 27, 2025, at his Island residence.

Michael was born September 19, 1951, in Galveston, Texas to Sam and Lillian Parks. Michael was a simple man that was very devoted to his faith and family. Michael was a Master Plumber and was Owner & Operator of Quality Plumbing for many years. He never met a stranger and took great pride in helping anyone he could. He really enjoyed conversations about politics and especially his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loved them all with his whole heart.

Preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Barbara Ann Watts. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Lynn A. Parks of Galveston; daughter Laura Addison and husband Garrik of Galveston; sons Sammy Parks and wife Melissa of Friendswood and Bernie Parks and wife Di of Fort Worth; grandchildren Spencer Addison, Ryder Addison, Brady Parks, Chase Parks and Reagan Parks; close family friends Buster and Sebastian Conti of Galveston; numerous other relatives and many friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be announced at a later date.
