Michelle Gaillard Lick

1956-2026

Michelle Lynn Gaillard Lick, of Galveston Texas, died of chronic illness on June 18, 2026, in the Woodlands, Texas.

Michelle was born in Tucson, Arizona on July 22, 1956, to Michael Gaillard and Lena Pentek, and raised in multiple U.S. cities as the only child of an Air Force family. She became an avid reader and crafter with a sharp wit.

Michelle took pride in her Emergency Room Nursing career in Tucson, AZ, her volunteer work in Galveston, TX, and most importantly her role as a Mother. The perfect day for her was spending time with her horses, drinking a Coca Cola, having dinner with her family followed by watching a crime show surrounded by her pets.

Michelle was preceded in death by parents Michael Gaillard, Lena Pentek, and stepmother Betty Gaillard. Survived by children Christina Michelle Escobell, Scott Alexander Lick, and Emma Marie Lick, and by stepsister Lisa Largen, step-nieces Elizabeth Lowe and Jennifer Kovacs, and step-nephew Marvin Snodgrass.

A Visitation will be held at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston, Texas, Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
