Mildred Louise Kerr age 78 of Galveston died Thursday September 14, 2023 at the Rio Retirement in Texas City. Memorial services are 9:00am Thursday September 28, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church in Galveston.

Mildred was born December 29, 1944 in Cleburne, Texas to Grover Vernard Kerr and Annie Louise Turner Kerr. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse retiring after 23 years of service at UTMB Hospital. She loved working puzzles and watching Crime Shows and Wrestling on TV. She was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church in Galveston where she served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Preceded in death by her brothers and sisters she is survived by her sons Aaron D. Kerr and wife Khadijah of San Leon, Michael Speck of Dallas and Wade Garci and wife Sharley of Angleton; grandson Ozzie Flores and wife Kenzie of Minden, Louisiana; great granddaughter Ellyanna Flores of Oklahoma; sister in law Bobbie Callies of El Campo; several brothers and sisters; numerous friends including Tim York and the Bible Baptist Family; and her beloved dogs Peanut who was her service animal and Precious.
