Novah Angeline Filer was still born as she passed peacefully in her mother's womb at UTMB John Sealy Hospital in Galveston on May 7, 2020. After struggling she passed gently into the arms of Jesus.

Novah is the daughter of Felicia Theresa Filer and Nick Bernard Lamar of Texas City. She was the answer to their prayers as they awaited her birth with great anticipation and joy.

Our lives were touched by her struggle to be here with us and the joyful surprise that we had the privilege to know her at all. Please continue to keep her sisters and our family in your thoughts and prayers as we try to come to terms of not having her with us and this devastating loss.

Greeting her in heaven are her paternal grandparents Mary Angeline Filer and Verdell Allen.

She is survived by her loving parents Felicia Theresa Filer and Nick Bernard Lamar and six sisters, Nijiah Filer, Nioami Etienne, Nia Etienne, Rodrinae Hockley, Nyla Lamar and Naquai Lamar all who will miss her at home.

Special thanks to Darlene Murphy her God Mother and God Father James Richard whom we thank dearly for all their support. God has his hands on you, friend. Special thanks to Polaris Construction and employees for the generous gifts and support through the difficult loss. Funeral services are 11:00am Saturday May 16, 2020 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home 1201 Tremont Galveston, Texas 77550.
