Patrick C. Brady age 69 of Galveston passed away Monday February 12, 2024, at his residence. Funeral services are 12:00 noon Friday February 16, 2024, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10:00am Friday.

Patrick was born October 17, 1954, in Noblesville, Indiana to Harold P. Brady, Sr. and Mary Jane Williams Brady. He was a hard-working man who loved his grandchildren dearly. He also loved fishing and fast cars. He grew up in Indianapolis at the speedway where his father had his own box, which lead to his lifelong enthusiasm of racing. He was loved by all who knew him and blessed by all he loved.

Survivors include his daughters Jennifer Schaaf and husband Steve Schaaf, Jr. of Alvin, Texas and Claire Brady of Galveston; former wife Pam Daly of Galveston; brother Harold P. "Bud" Brady, II and wife Sue of Colorado; grandchildren Remi Finch, Stephen Schaaf, III, and Brady Patrick Schaaf; mother in law Jo Llewellyn of Galveston; sister and brother in laws, Sharon and Kenn Croisant of Galveston, Leann and Kevin Walsh of Galveston and Trey and Debbie Llewellyn of Dallas; the Smecca family, the Hart family, the Veyssi family and the Maceo family, numerous other relatives and many friends including his faithful furry companion Remington.
