GALVESTON, TX  — Patricia Ann Dudas of Galveston, a beloved "BOI," passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at UTMB Hospital. Born October 26, 1959, to Rose and Tony Vasquez, Patti was a proud 1978 graduate of Ball High School.

Patti embarked on a diverse and fulfilling career path. She started as a hair stylist and worked at a daycare before moving to the 4C's Clinic and UTMB. Later, she found joy and purpose in roles where she could care for others, excelling from cashier to manager at Office Depot and then at Mario's Seawall.
Patti cherished her family, friends, pets, and faith above all else. Her greatest pride was the love she shared with her husband, Mike Dudas, and son, William Schuster. She will mostly be remembered for her kind heart and loving personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her cherished dogs, Gia and Chip. Patti is survived by her husband, Mike Dudas; son, William Schuster and wife Kylie Schuster; sister, Antoinette and husband, Mike Jensen; nephew, Anthony Jensen and wife, Amanda; niece, Erin Jensen; great-nieces, Abigale and Ava Jensen; numerous close cousins; her beloved canine companion, Nate; and all of her "work families."

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston. A Celebration of Life funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 16th, at 10:00 AM at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, led by Pastor Richard Rhodes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to honor Patti's memory by sharing a meal with loved ones at Mario's Seawall one night; and to just be happy.
